Here are ways to protect your personal information:

  1. Go to Google.com. Click on the account icon on top right hand corner and click on manage your Google Account

  • Select Data and Privacy in the left hand navigation
  • Pause: Web & App Activity, Location History, Youtube History
  • Turn off: Ad personalization and Personal results in Search

  • Audit third-party apps that have access to your google data and remove the ones you don’t use or recognize
